Any metadata related code has to be redone - worldgen, entities, item interaction. Blocks have states instead of metadata - Again, HEE has about 50 blocks, so all those need to be redone.All block and item rendering, including stuff like fireballs and thrown potions, also has to be changed. Blocks and items are now json - HEE has about 110 of those in total, and they all now require 1-3 json files.Let's just take a look at all the changes I've encountered while trying to update: For a big mod like Hardcore Ender Expansion, that's a death sentence because the majority of the code is affected.
